PEMBROKE - Margaret I. (Saturley) Myers, 88, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association Hospice House in Concord.
Born in North Pembroke, she was the daughter of Howard J. and Ella (Hutchinson) Saturley.
She worked as a bus driver for the Pembroke school system for 31 years from 1967-1998. From 1998-2003, she worked at Havenwood-Heritage Heights in the food service department.
She was a leader of the Pathfinders, enjoyed knitting and reading, and loved gardening.
She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Clifton Myers in 1992; her brother, Lester Saturley; and two of her sisters, Lois Treloar and Florence Wetmore.
Survivors include her son, Larry E. Myers of Pembroke; two brothers, John L. Saturley of Chichester and Howard Saturley of Concord; her sister, Barbara Bassett of Epsom; and many nieces and nephews.

CORONADO, C.A. -- A New Hampshire man has been identified as one of the victims in a deadly New Year's Day shooting in California.
Officials said 31-year-old Matthew Saturley, of Newbury, was one of three people shot at a condo near San Diego.
There were no eyewitnesses, investigators said, and they have found no motive yet for the eruption of gunfire.
John Robert Reeves, 25, a Navy pilot, shot himself in the head, and the three others with him were murdered, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said, citing autopsy results. Fellow Navy pilot David Reis, also 25, was killed by a gunshot wound to the torso, and his 24-year-old sister, Karen, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and chest, officials said.
Saturley was shot multiple times.
"He was a kind and generous man, and we all so broken-hearted by this," said his sister, Elizabeth Saturley.
The two Navy pilots and Karen Reis went out to a nightclub on New Year's Eve with another unnamed friend, Sheriff's Capt. Duncan Fraser said. At the club, they met Saturley and returned to Coronado. When the gunshots rang out, the friend was talking to David Reis outside the condo, Fraser said. Reis rushed inside, and the friend stayed outside and called 911.
Officials are not saying whether Reeves is suspected of killing the victims.
Matthew Saturley attended the University of Maryland, earning a bachelor's degree in economics, before studying for a master's at MIT's Sloan School of Management, according to U-T San Diego. He has two children.
"It's just heartbreaking," said his wife, Alana Renfro. "Matthew was the most kind, wonderful man, best friend and father anyone could ever have. He was incredible."
Matthew Saturley's father, Robert Saturley, was killed in a bicycling accident over the summer in Newbury, where the family had kept a seasonal home for many years.
Reeves, of Prince Frederick, Md., and Reis, of Bakersfield, Calif., were both training as F/A-18 fighter pilots assigned to the Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 101 of the Third Marine Aircraft Wing at nearby Miramar Air Station.
Authorities were awaiting toxicology results to see if drugs or alcohol might have played a role in the shootings.
