“General John Stark - An American Hero”

Richard Wright presented an entertaining impersonation of General John Stark, a genuine hero of the American Revolution. Mr. Wright is a member of the New Hampshire Society of the Sons of the American Revolution who has received accolades for his presentation of the character and personality of the legendary John Stark. Complete in uniform, Mr. Wright presented a portait of the General from his early home in Derry to his service in the Revolutionary War. In addition, the General's character was much discussed with additional information on his family and contributions to the State, including the motto "Live Free or Die". A business meeting was held prior to the program with information about the Epsom Historical Center and the upcoming fundraiser. Mr. John Atwood spoke for a moment about the old McClary House.
