PEOPLE OF NEW ENGLAND Part 2
The
Epsom Historical Association presented a second program
on the Indians of New England by Tim Patterson. The program
was Sunday, May 18th at the Old Town Hall. Tim presented
a program on the subject last year, and the topic was so
well presented, he was been invited back.
“Native People of New
England,” the history and culture of the native people
of New England was discussed by Tim , as he shared his personal
story of being raised in a Canadian Algonquin family. Tim
and his family are residents of Epsom and are well known
and respected in our community. Various samples of Indian
clothing was part of the program. Once again Mr. Patterson
presented a very informative program, he undoubtly is well
versed and passionate about the subject, and this he easily
translates to his audience.
The event began at 2:00 pm
along with a short business meeting and refreshments.
