EPSOM, Feb. 21 - Mrs. Ella O. Ames of the New Orchard road, died at her home on Thursday morning after a long period of poor health. Mrs. Ames was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L.O. Winslow of Pittsfield. She was born in that town in 1859. She had lived in Epsom since 1879 when she married the late Henry Ames. She is survived by one son, Mayland P. Ames, with whom she made her home, and three granddaughters, Barbara, Dorothy and Marjorie Ames.

General:

The following information I received from a bible page belonging to Ephraim Winslow. He was born May 06 1805. He married Mary Tucker born May 21 1803. They married on May 25 1824. Their son son was John T Winslow born June 26 1825. Mary died February 19 1826. John died June 19 1832. Ephraim's second wife was Sally Green, born August 14 1806. They were married March 18 1827. Their children were: Charles E b. 8-18-1829 d. 1-27-1890 (my Great great grandfather). Mary J b. 5-30-1832. Elizabeth A b. 9-11-1834. Elisha b. 10-30-1836. Sarah A 4-17-1839. Seaneth M b. 6-22-1842. John b. 7-09-1846. I also have found that Ephraim's parents were Elisha and Lydia. Sally's parents were Abraham Green and Elizabeth Chesley. Thanks Tricia O'Doherty 8/31/05
