General:
Received land in Epsom from his grandfather Robert Goss in 1768, so assume he was just of age, placing brith around 1748.
Mentioned in the will of Deborah Allen (wife of Jude Allen) who gives one sheep to each of her sons eldest males, including Joseph Goss. This puts his birth before 1753. It also secures his place as son of Nathan and Deborah (Allen) Goss.

Found in 1790 census, Epsom, NH. In Epsom by deed in 1799.
Did not pay tax in Epsom 1795 or 1806.
