All baptized together by Rev. Isaac Smith of Gilmanton on 4 December 1775 "being ye children of Samuel Avery." Mr. Smith's original records are now lost, but the late Winnifred Lovering Holman, FASG, made a copy of it some years ago, now at the NHHS in Concord. This record is on p. 9 of that copy. Mr. Smith put their surname after the name of each child. GFS
