March 1826 in Strafford, the death of Mr. Avery. (Enoch Hayes Place journal), might be this Ephraim.

Information is sketchy. The death records of two of his children give conflicting information. The LDS church IGI files are notoriously inaccurate. They give his birth as Strafford, Maine. One record gives his birth as Augusta, Maine. Another, unknown. It is likely Strafford, NH would be closer to correct. See marriage info.
