WILL of Isaac Knox - 1834

Be it remembered that I Isaac Knox of Epsom in the County of Merrimack and State of New Hampshire, being weak in body but of sound and perfect memory, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say.

First I give and devise to my son Robert Knox, ten dollars to be paid to hem when (he) shall be twenty one years of age.

I also give to my daughters Eliza Ann, Elvira and Mary Knox one hundred dollars each to be paid to them when they shall be married, or when they shall arrive to the age of twenty one years if wither of them shall remain unmarried at that age - also I will that my daughters above named shall have a home in my house when they may choose until they marry or become twenty one years old, and in case of any of my daughters should remain unmarried after they are twenty one years old, it is my will that each of them should have a privilege of living in my house.

All the rest and residue of my estate both real and personal, after payment of my debts and the legacies above named, I give and bequeath to my two sons Henry Knox and Albert Knox, they paying out of the estate bequeathed to them all the before names legacies as heretofore directed.

Also I give to my wife Sally Knox one third part of my real estate for and during the term of her natural life.

Lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my wife Sally Knox and Thomas D. Merrill of said Epsom, executors of this my last Will and Testament.

General Notes: Husband - George Edward Reese

NORTHWOOD - George "Ted" E. Reese Sr., 91, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011.
He was the son of Charles E. and Lillian Soutiere Reese.
Ted lived in Northwood with his wife, Phyllis Knox Reese, in a home on Pleasant Lake. A 1938 graduate of Coe's Northwood Academy, he went on to technical schools in the east to fulfill his budding passion for fixing machinery.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in both the Navy and Air Force Reserves. He was an Air Force technical sergeant and an aviation machinist's Mate First Class USN-1 of the U.S. Navy. During his life, he served in the Civil Air Patrol. He also worked as a mechanic at Ferns Flying Service of Concord, was the head of the sheet metal department at Northeast Electronics, Concord, and retired from Wilcom of Belmont.
Ted was always community oriented, having served as a member of the Cemetery Trustees of the town of Northwood and as a volunteer EMT for 23 years. He was a 32nd degree Mason and belonged to the 90 F&AM Morrison Lodge for 68 years, where he was past master and treasurer. He received the General Sullivan award during that time.
He loved the outdoors, travel and always had a funny story to share. You could find him either tinkering in his barn or swimming in Pleasant Lake and enjoying the sun and the company of family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 64 years, Phyllis Knox Reese; his three children, Roberta Reese Mongeon of Epsom, the Rev. George E. Reese Jr. and his wife, Karen, of Epsom and Charles K. Reese and his wife, Nancy, of Deerfield; six grandchildren, Joel Dail and his wife, Meggin, of Epsom, NH; Brett Mongeon Gagnon and her husband, Jason, of Dover, Ian and Sean Reese of Epsom and Tyler and Cooper Reese of Deerfield; and three great-grandsons, Earnhardt and Carson Dail of Epsom and Brannock Gagnon of Dover.
