Buried in the Brackett-Libbey Cemetery, New Rye, Epsom, NH. Was ordained to the ministry in Hooksett Dec. 5, 1850 and was acting pastor there 1850-1853. Next acting pastor in Revere, Ma. 1857-1859, lived in Boston and finally moved to Waverly, Ma. where he died.

JOSEPH W. TARLETON
The age of Joseph W. Tarleton, who died at Waverly, 27th ult., should have been given last week as 66, not 86. He graduated Dartmouth in 1842 and at Yale Seminary in 1847, having previously studied at Andover. He was ordained Dec. 5, 1850 and was acting pastor at Hooksett, N.H., three years, afterwards laboring in Provincetown, and in various other places as an evangelist. His wife and one son survive him. The burial was at Epsom, N.H., his native place.
