Prescott Memorial gives Chase Prescott marries Dec. 21, 1823, Lucy S. Lear. Is the date wrong and is Samuel Jr. and Chase the same person? She may have married a Samuel in 1819 and later Chase in 1823? Pembroke Town History also gives the Dec. 21, 1823 marraige, and so it is used here.
