Buried in the McClary Cemetery, Epsom, NH. His gravestone in near that of Rowland Lawrence, and its style, shape and size has a strikling resemblance to that of Rowlands. It would appear from deeds that he lived with his father in Epsom, NH, and at some point his father Edward Lawrence returned to Epping and his son and wife remained in the Epsom, NH home. He died in Epsom, NH according to the records of Jonathan Dolbeer in March 1820, and the 1820 Agricultural census for Epsom, NH lists a widow Dorcas Lawrence. In 1821 the home was sold by Edwards parents, Edward and Rachel (Prescott) to John Dyer who sold it two months later to Simeon Towle.

It should be noted that Edward Sr. had three sons in Epsom, NH, Edward, Bennett and Joseph. The transactions between them are not absolutely clear - Bennett could have sold the mill to his brother Edward, or his father. Whereas Joseph did sell land to his father Edward in 1815, which the father sold in 1821. It would seems most likely that the Senior Edward Lawrence bought both properties, given that the occurred about the same time, and that his son Edward lived at at least one of those properties.

He and his wife joined the Epsom, NH Church Aug. 16, 1816, the same day as 3 of their children were baptized.

Edward Lawrence bought land in Epsom, NH from his son Joseph in 1815, and probably lived there for a short time. It appears that the home was occupied by his son Edward and his wife Dorcas (Cora). This son Edward died in Epsom, NH in 1820, and in Oct. of 1821, Edward Lawrence and his wife Rachel sell this property to John Dyer, who in turn sells the same property to Simeon Towle in December of the same year.

Edward Lawrence, also in 1815, bought of Bennett, his mill and property.
