General:

PEMBROKE - Mr. Emery Dowst, 83, of High Street in Pembroke, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Concord Hospital.
Born on July 28, 1924, he was the son of Ernest and Martha (Fowler) Dowst.
After he graduated from Pembroke Academy, he joined the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He then spent 20 years as a heavy equipment operator in Alaska, working for Western Geophysical Co. and had later been employed for Merrimack Farmers.
He was a member of the Granite State Treasure Hunters.
His brother and sister, Margaret Dowst Littlefield and George Dowst predeceased him.
He is survived by nieces and nephews, Regina Heroux, Ernest Littlefield and Richard Littlefield, all of Florida, Susan Proulx of Bedford, Christine Cotnoir of Northfield and Richard Dowst of Northwood.
