Leominster, MA - Hattie E. (Ambrose) Bickford, 99, formerly of Epsom, died Monday June 16, 2008, at HealthAlliance-Leominster Hospital in Leominster, Mass.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Carol M. (Johnson) Bickford of Leominster, Mass; her grandaughter, Crystal Bickford of Webster, Mass; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Elmore Bickford; her son Alfred C. Bickford; and her daughter, Natalie Bickford.
Mrs. Bickford was born in Epsom on Sept. 4, 1908, daughter of Albion and Susie (Colburn) Ambrose and had lived there before moving to Leominster, Mass., nine years ago.
She was a graduate of Pittsfield High Scool. Hattie had been a member of the Epsom Woman's Club, the New Rye Ladies Aid and the Epsom Garden Club.
Graveside services will be held at McClary Cemetery in Epsom.

Barnstead-Helen E. Ambrose, 80, of Pineo Road, died Tuesday June 3, 2008, at home after a short illness. She was born in Epsom, the daughter of Watson T. and Helen (Ordway) Ambrse. She has lived in Barnstead for most of her life.
She retired from the former Artistic Webb Co. in Barnstead Parade, where she had worked as a weaver for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley L. Corliss of Barnstead; and member of her family include four sons, Charles A. Corliss of Epsom, Robert L. Corliss, Richard G. Corliss and Thomas Corliss, all of Barnstead; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; five sisters, Frances Gauthier, Arlene Riley and Lilian Small, all of Pittsfield, Pauline Rosenblott of Keene and Nancy Juaranty of Allenstown; and many nieces and newphews.
