Second, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mehitable T. Critchett all my household furniture and effects.
Third, As to the residue and remainder of al my estate, real, personal and mixed, wherever found and however situated I give, devise and bequeath the same unto my sons Charles H. Critchett and William W. Critchett and to my daughter Hannah W. Worthen, wife of George W. Worthen, to have and to hold the same to them and their heirs forever in equal portion, nevertheless this bequest is made upon the following express conditions: That in case my said wife, Mehitable T. In case such residuary legatees shall for any reason fail to furnish seasonably such support and maintenance, then I authorize and fully empower my said wife to sell and dispose of so much of said remainder of my estate as my be necessary to provide for her such support and maintenance during her natural life.
Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my son Charles H. Critchett sole executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
And I hereby direct that no bond be required of my Executor except to pay debts. In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal the eleventh day of February, 1880. - Moses Critchett
