Roscoe W. Quimby, 79, 548 Eden Park Ave., Altamonte Springs, (FL) died Monday. Born in Northwood, N.H., he moved to Altamonte Sprngs from Epsom, NH, N.H. in 1979. He was a retired service station owner and attended Calvary Assembly of God, Winter Park. Survivors: wife Blanche C.; daughters, Mrs. Shirley A. Deitrich, Orlando, Miss Joan A., Altamonte Springs; sisters, Mrs. Clara B. Strachan, Northwood, Mrs. Dorothy M. Jordan, Concord, N.H., Mrs. Esther Johnson, Acton, MA; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, Forest City.

35TH ANNIVERSARY - Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Quimby of Epsom, NH were visited by 175 neighbors and friends at an open house held June 5 in honor of their 35th wedding anniversary. The Quimbys have two daughters and four grandchildren. The daughters are Mrs. Shirley Deitrich of Hampton, VA., and Miss Joan Quimby of Epsom, NH. Quimby has operated a service station on the Epsom, NH Traffic Circle since 1937. The Quimbys were married by Rev. Harry Little of Barnstead June 1, 1931.

We hear, from good authority, that Gen. Michael McClary is appointed Marshall for the District of New Hampshire; an office lately filled by Bradbuty Cilley, Esq.
Maj. Cilley is a gentleman of most unexceptional character, and gave universal satisfaction - a warm friend to the American revolution, in which he took an active part. And in this he was supported by all his family and connections, who were noted for their fervency and zeal in the American cause. The gallant actions of his father in the American army are well remembered -- but good reputation, amiable manners, the satisfaction given to our fellow citizens in the official capacity of Maj Cilley availed not - for he had the misfortune of being a FEDERALIST.
