The death of Mrs. May Brown, wife of John C. Brown, on Tuesday, came as a great shock to her many friends in this vicinity. She was ill but a few days, apoplexy being the cause of her death. She is survived by her husband, one son, Robert of Lynn, Mass., and several grandchildren. The funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon and burial was in the family lot at McClary cemetery.
