1920 Census for Vershire, VT, gives households of Henry, James, Jonathan, Moses and Simeon.

Will written May 1806 in Vershire, VT.
In the Name of God Amen, this tenth day of May 1806 I Moses Godfrey of Vershire in the County of Orange and State of Vermont being in health of body & in perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God therefor Calling into mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally & first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of God that gave and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in Decent Christian burial at the Discretion of my Executor, nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God, and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life-
I give, demise & dispose of the same in the following manner and improvement of one half of my land and orchard and buildings and one half of my stock of Cattles of all kinds with one half of all my farming tules of every kind with the improvement of one five pale Cittle [five pail kettle], one Craan & trammels, one Chest, two iron pots and all the Chaars during her life or so long as she remain my Widder and the remainder of my housal furniture, I give to her to her disposal. I also give to my son Simon Godfrey all and singular my lands and all my stock of cattle of every kind and all my farming tules of every kind and all my notes of hand and books an [word?] and mony and my old gun and all my tubs and castn[?] of every kind and my chest which my writings are in, and my hand saw and my warring appuril [wearing apparel?] & freely to be possessed by him, and my great iron Kittle, Crain and tramels, the great Chair with three common Chair-
I give to my son James Godfrey one pailfful[?] pot, one Chase--I give to my son Jonathan Godfrey one pot that holds a gallon, one Chase-I give to my son henary[Henry] Godfrey one dishkettle, one Chase and my fine sut[suit?] out[and?] all the rest the wrest of my [word or words?] tules-I give to my Dafter Dolly hoit [my daughter Dolly Hoit] a good broad Cloath Cloak to be got by my Executors and two Dollars in money I give to my sons James Godfree and to Jonathan Godfrey and henery Godfrey [p427] two dollars to each of them to be paid by my Executors & likewise constitute make And ordain Nathaniel Simons of Strafford In the County of Orange and State of Vermont My sole Executor of this my last will and testament & do hereby utterly disallow, revoke and Disannull all and every other former testament, wills, legacies & bequeaths and Executors by me in any way before [word?] & satisfying & confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament in witness whereof i have set my hand seal the day and year above mentioned signed sealed published pronounced & declared by the said Moses Godfree his last Will and testament in the presence of us the subscribers
