As part of our Winnebago Caravan last summer (22 units), "The Great River Road", headwaters of the Mississippi at Lake Itasca, MN to New Orleans, we toured the side by side Weyerhaeuser & Musser Mansions in Little Falls, MN.
Charles A. Weyerhaeuser m. 12/14/1898 in Duluth, MN Frances Maud Moon b. 1876 d. 1965, 89 years of age. He died in Bombay in 1930 on a world cruise. in 1943 the Widow married a Bruce Sanborn.
This Charles A. Weyerhaeuser was the son of Frederick Weyerhaeuser who started the lumber business with Peter Musser, whose son Richard Drew Musser built the Musser Mansion. The sons were age 25 & 26, and single, when they built these Mansions in Little Falls.
This Bruce Sanborn has to be Bruce Walter Sanborn b. 7/11/1882 (9), of Hon. Walter Henry (8), Henry Frederick, (7), Dea. Frederick (6), Hon. Josiah (5) etc. Don't know if he had an earlier wife.
