General Notes: Husband - Ebenezer Wallace

Ebenezer⁴, born say 1722, died Rye 30 May 1812 aged 90 years [Rye VRs, p. 230]. He married Dorothy LANG, daughter of John^3-2 (Robert¹) and Sarah (Bickford) Lang. She was baptized at Rye 25 April 1725 and died there 20 October 1813, aged 89. [Rye VRs, p. 230]. John Lang left a will dated 5 September 1767 in which he mentions his daughter Dorothy Wallace, wife of Ebenezer Wallace. [Rockingham Co. Probate #4109, Evans, Abstracts of Rockingham Co. Probate I:553]. This couple had no children. They are profiled in Kathleen E. Hosier's Vital Records of Rye, pp. 312-313. Ebenezer left a will naming his widow Dorothy and Lang heirs, but no Wallis heirs. [Rockingham Co. Probate #8535].
