General Notes: Husband - Samuel Wallace

He died shortly after the birth of his daughter, his wife remarried in time to have a daughter born 1817. Not found in 1810 census.

Samuel6, born say 1767. Certainly alive in 1790 with his father, and possibly alive in 1800, but certainly not in Epsom according to his father's will. According to the court case arising out of property claims of the heirs of Thomas Babb and Elizabeth5 (George4 Samuel3) Wallis, their daughter Jane Wallis Babb married a Samuel Wallis. The marriage on 25 June 1804 at Epsom of Samuel Wallis to Jane Babb is at Epsom VRs, p. 216. Further proof required. Certainly son Shadrach never comes back. And I have a hunch this man could be a son of Joseph5 (Samuel4 William3) whose household in the 1790 census at Epsom shows four males under sixteen. Certainly a son born ca. 1780 is a better candidate. More research is needed to sort this out.
