Allen’s theatre backgkround goes back to 1984 at St. Francis College where he was a chorus member in “Brigadoon” and as Dr. Li in the “Flower Drum Song” the following year. Later he appeared with the Streetcar Company in Laconia as Ambrose Kemper in the 1995 production of “Hello Dolly.” The fall of 2000 saw his first Pittsfield Players production in “Kismet” as Mezzuin, followed by Mordcha the Innkeeper in “Fiddler on the Roof”. In the fall of 2002 he portrayed Miles Gloriosus in “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” and last fall as Clem, the Hog Caller in “State Fair”. This past summer her performed with “Encore!”. He is employed by Kana Software as a software engineer in Manchester and resides in Loudon with his wife Margaret and two children.
