Notes
General:
Lang Genealogy corrects Parson's History of Rye in making Ralph Wallace, George Wallace who married Anna Shortridge - however, they attribute Jane as their child. Later historians, and in particular articles in the Boston Transcript, having found the Will of William Wallace which names the heirs, clearly gives Jane as the daughter of William and Jane (Drake) Wallace, thus being the namesake of her mother which makes sense. William and George were brothers, both sons of George Wallace the immigrant.

Jane3, born say 1677, m. before 1699 (if she were his only wife), Stephen2 LANG, son of Robert1 and Ann (Williams) LANG. He was born say 1675 and died before 1739. Perhaps she was the wife of Stephen Lang mentioned as a member of the North Church in Portsmouth in 1699. [New Hampshire Genealogical Record 4:49] A list of possible children are given at Gen. Dictionary of Me. and N.H., p. 413: Benjamin, Stephen, Samuel, Lyman, Thomas, William, Deliverance, Sarah and Abigail.

Notes
General:
Lived in Epsom, NH from 1762 onward.

Jane/Jean4 born say 1716, baptized that year at Greenland [Greenland VRs, p. 54], married at Portsmouth, 12 March 1735/36, [NEHGR 25:122] as his second wife, Mark3 MOSES, son of Aaron2 (John1) and Mary (Leach) Moses. He was born at Portsmouth ca. 1703 and died at Epsom on 2 February 1789. They had the following children: Samuel, Jane, Aaron, Sylvanus, William and James. [Gen. Dict. of Me. and N.H., p. 496].

On 9 October 1762, William Wallis of Greenland, New Hampshire, yeoman for and in consideration "of the love and natural affection that I have and do bear towards my daughter Jane Moses of Epsom in said province, Spinster" have given and granted to her a certain parcel of land in Epsom containing 30 acres. William Wallis signs by mark and the deed is recorded on 2 March 1785. [Rockingham County Deeds 119:15].
Jane Moses was the Jane Wallis who married as his second wife, Mark Moses at Portsmouth on 12 March 1735/36. [Births, Marriages, and Deaths in Portsmouth, NH, NEHGR 25 (1871):122.] Mark Moses was alive at the time of this deed and died at Epsom on 2 February 1789 [Genealogical Dictionary of Me. and N.H., p. 496]. This is clearly a case where spinster means older woman. It was an anomaly for a woman to be given property in her own right and many deeds of this time period would actually have a father giving the land to the husband and daughter. Why William Wallis chose this method of conveyance is a mystery.
There's no denying this is who she is. She is called Jane Moses in the will of her father in 1772. [Rockingham County Probate #3944, Helen F. Evans, Abstracts of the Probate Records of Rockingham County, N.H. 1771-1799 (Batimore, Md.: Heritage Books, 2000) II:983.] She cannot be the Jane Moses Wallis baptized at Epsom on 1 January 1769 daughter of William, even as an adult, since Simeon Wallis is baptized at the same time, indicating they were both children [and of a different William].

Gravestone gives date of death as Dec. 11, 1823 (possibly misread)

The obituary of Jane (Wallace) Morrill reads, "In Goffstown, 14th inst., Mrs. Jane Morrill, consort of the Hon. David L. Morrill, aged 53. A lady whose unobtrusive manners, amiable and excellent disposition had endeared her to all her acquaintenance. Hers was the spirit of the genuine Christian, delighting to feed the hungry, and clothe the naked and destitute, and administer sweet consolation to the afflicted; that spirit has too soon for the world, but not too soon for itself, winged its flight to the bright abodes of the faithful."
