First wife of Thomas Haley. The Gordon Genealogy book has some errors here, as her marriage is given as ca. 1721, though some of her children (Sarah and Benj.) have been given marriage dates ca. 1709 - before the marriage of their parents. I assume the 1721 date to be an error. .

Instead of Sarah as wife of Thomas3, it could be Elsa but Davis does question
this. Pg. 17 & 18, Thomas Haley of Winter Harbor book:

"Owing to the very fragmentary condition of Exeter town and church
records, there is considerable difficulty in determining the facts in
regard to Thomas Haley's wives and children. There seems no doubt,
however, that his first wife was a dau. of Alexander2 Gordon of Exeter**
[**Her baptismal name was possibly Elsa, a name which was given by both
of her sons to their daughters], that they were m. about 1721, when
Gordon deeded property to Haley, that they had 3 children, and that she
died in 1727. Alexander2 Gordon died intestate and his heirs in 1752
were Stephen and Mary Leavitt, Samuel and Elizabeth Smith, Elisha and
Lydia
Sanborn, Biley Dudley, Thomas Haley and Thomas and Sarah Burley, all of
Brentwood, Trueworthy and Elizabeth Dudley of Exeter, David and Anna
Lawrence
and Jacob and Susanna Freeze of Epping. "
