Research indicates Robert had two children by his first wife, Mary. They were Charles, born about 1832, and John B., about 1834. He then married Almira W. Moulton and they had the following children: Ancil, born 1839; Robert, 1841; William W., 1842; Alanson P., 1844; Mary J., 1849; George R., 1852; Albert A., 1856; Arthur H., 1858; Alfreda S., 1861. Robert's occupation is listed as a farmer in U.S.Census records.
