Joseph Sherburne (1745-1807) served, 1778, as private under Colonel Nichols in the Rhode Island expedition. He was born in Portsmouth; died in Epsom, NH, N. H.
Simeon Locke (1760-1836) served, 1777, as private under Capt. Nicholas Rawlings, Col. Abraham Drake's regiment, raised to re-enforce the Northern Continental Army at Stillwater. He was born in Rye, N. H.
[p.66] Jonathan Piper (1752-1807) served as private at the Lexington Alarm in Capt. William Whitcomb's company, Col. James Prescott's Massachusetts regiment. He was born in Concord; died in Ashby, Mass.
