Reuben⁵, born about 1757, died at Sanbornton 11 November 1843. He married January 1785 at Greenland [Rye VRs, p. 167], Elizabeth RAND, the daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Dowse) Rand. Elizabeth was baptized at Rye on 8 January 1757 [Rye VRs, p. 70] and died at Sanbornton on 21 January 1825. This family is profiled in Runnels' History of Sanbornton. Six sons are given: Stephen, Reuben, Levi, William, Samuel, and Richard. Note the use of the name Levi in this family as a reinforcement for the identification of John Wallace who also named a son Levi. (research M. Hollick)
