EPSOM PROBATE RECORDS

WILL OF ISAAC KNOX - 1834

WILL of Isaac Knox - 1834

Be it remembered that I Isaac Knox of Epsom in the County of Merrimack and State of New Hampshire, being weak in body but of sound and perfect memory, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say.

First I give and devise to my son Robert Knox, ten dollars to be paid to hem when (he) shall be twenty one years of age.

I also give to my daughters Eliza Ann, Elvira and Mary Knox one hundred dollars each to be paid to them when they shall be married, or when they shall arrive to the age of twenty one years if wither of them shall remain unmarried at that age - also I will that my daughters above named shall have a home in my house when they may choose until they marry or become twenty one years old, and in case of any of my daughters should remain unmarried after they are twenty one years old, it is my will that each of them should have a privilege of living in my house.

All the rest and residue of my estate both real and personal, after payment of my debts and the legacies above named, I give and bequeath to my two sons Henry Knox and Albert Knox, they paying out of the estate bequeathed to them all the before names legacies as heretofore directed.

Also I give to my wife Sally Knox one third part of my real estate for and during the term of her natural life.

Lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my wife Sally Knox and Thomas D. Merrill of said Epsom, executors of this my last Will and Testament.
