COMMENTS: My thoughts on playing that part. In reading the bio you provided us my first impression of Mr Morris was one of being a has been a snob from NY. Well as time went by and in rehearsing more and more I felt that he was a verile man after discovering that he had 12 children talk about made for the part. Not the children part, the part about verile. I did enjoy this production of a well known play. And as time will prove we did a much better job than the movie. Of course it didn't hurt having the support staff that we had. Again I am extreamly proud to be a part of this production and the hours spent in preparing was well worth the result. Thank you to the rest of the cast for making this a great experience.

Frank moved to N.H. with his family in 1981. He has a 16 year old son attending Coe Brown Academy with hopes of driving in NASCAR in the future. His daughter is serving in the US Air Force National Guard, and is proud to be serving her country. His wife Sue is a Corrections Officer for the State of NH working in the Concord prison. Frank’s very first play in his life was the role as Sam the butcher in “Cemetry Club”. He went on to a part in “A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum”, “State Fair” and “12 Angry Men”. Frank fell in love with the theatre and the people involved and looks forward to a long relationship with the Pittsfield Players. He is veteran of the US Army Special Forces (Green Berets) and did two tours of duty in Vietnam. Frank hopes his daughter, who he is very proud of, has a long and safe career in the Air Force National Guard.

IN MEMORIAM

Frank J. Kirwin, 63, or Parker Mountain Road, died June 16th 2006 at his home following a brief illness. He was born in Boston, the son of John & Margaret (Marshman) Kirwin. He served in the US Army as a Green Beret and also was a paratrooper with the Airborne Division. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam. Following his retirement from active duty, he moved to Strafford where he was very involved with the Boy Scouts of America working at both the Parker Mountain scout camp in Strafford and the Quimapoxet Camp in Jaffrey. He was a member of the Barnstead Lions Club and he rode motorcycles. He was also very active with the Pittsfield Players. He had roles in several productions including the 'Cemetery Club', 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum', 'State Fair', '1776' as Lewis Morris, and 'Twelve Angry Men'. He also produced the musical 'Annie'. He is survived by his wife Susan Watson-Kirwin of Strafford.
